Posted: 03 Nov 2019 02:55 AM PST Have Legate Rikke on the board an nothing else. Example 1. Summon Legion Zero Templar (next to Rikke) -> Rikke triggers -> Summon an Inperial Grunt to the other lane -> Legion Zero Templar triggers -> He gets the +0/+3. Example 2. Summon Priest of the Eight -> He triggers -> He fails -> Rikke triggers -> Summon an Inperial Grunt to the other lane. The Templar and the Priest each have the "summon: if" text, so why we have an inconsistent orders? Can we have a proper explanation? [link] [comments]

Posted: 03 Nov 2019 10:47 AM PST Hey there. Is anybody here willing to help me try getting a turn 3 win for the weekly challenge in a friendly match. I've got a deck that successfully got one in pve but it would probably take some time retrying for the correct starting hand and ring. I'll probably get online in about 3 hours. My ingame name is Maltum. [link] [comments]

Posted: 03 Nov 2019 10:07 AM PST Hi all. As far as I can make out, the new format for vs arena is that you climb one rung on the ladder for each win. The ladder resets every month. Previously, you would get increasing amount of rewards based on how many wins/loses at the end of every 3 losses or 7 wins. Does anyone know how rewards are now calculated and what you get please? Thank you [link] [comments]
Some of these daily quests are really obnoxious to complete Posted: 03 Nov 2019 09:38 AM PST I've played probably 15 games with a bad deck that I don't like just trying to get 10 creatures to trigger beast form. I've even been making bad plays and throwing games just to advance it. I don't have that many appropriate cards, and I'm certainly not wasting any dust to craft some for 60 gold. I wish these quests took your collection into account. And more importantly, I don't think deliberately making bad plays / decks just to complete a daily should be incentivized. Edit: I will say that overall I've been enjoying the game. These quests are just a bit tedious. [link] [comments]

What Every Beginner Should Know Before Playing Posted: 02 Nov 2019 12:33 PM PDT Overall Cost. Every person and situation is different, but it could cost $25-100+ to play this game competitively. It's possible to play for free or on a small budget, but you'll be grinding loot for a long time. It's more expensive than free-to-play shooter and MOBA games, but it's affordable compared to Hearthstone and real-life CCG's. Daily Logins. It goes without saying, but you'll miss out if you don't login every single day of the month. Gauntlets. Read the rules and prizes slowly and very carefully before entering. Some Gauntlets offer great value and are worth participating in (even if you only win a few games) but some are bad value. Gold. The 50-card pre-made decks are the best value, and the story arcs (because they have exclusive cards which cannot be bought with gems or earned anywhere else). I wouldn't spend Gold for Arenas or events - use tickets for them instead. Gold is earned by quests, logins and winning a lot of games in Casual / Ranked versus. Gems. The resale value of cards is much less than the crafting value. It's a net loss if you break down a card and realize you need to craft it again, so do it very carefully. It's more cost-efficient to be patient and earn cards than to craft a playset and then earn duplicates anyway (especially with commons). But it's worth crafting cards for a specific deck you need to build out. Gems can be farmed by beating the Adept bot (20x a day) with an aggro deck, though that isn't very time efficient. Arena. It's fun for trying out different cards. Solo arena rewards aren't great; versus arena can be good if you have a high winrate. It's risky to spend Gold on, you may not get it back and sometimes you get bad drafts. Good for spending spare tickets on, though the good Gauntlets are more worth it. Versus Ladder. A match has only 1 round, no side-decking and you don't know what deck you'll go up against. As a result, it's advantageous to focus on building out and mastering 1 good deck than to dilettante. Though, of course, the meta can change and a new deck will be needed. Youtube. Some of the content on there is for entertainment rather than competitive advantage, so if you're looking for content, seek out people who are Legends or top 100. Recency. Deck building guides that are over a month old may be outdated, especially if a new set comes out. TESL Blog. For those that don't know, TESL blog has a lot of good articles. https://tesl.blog/ [link] [comments]

Posted: 02 Nov 2019 03:16 PM PDT I have been playing for a bit, I have never spent money and I really only play when I have a spare time. I am just trying to figure out what decks work great. I have tried shackle and lethal. And rally boys. Neither really get me past 5 in ranked. Edit: I am looking for new decks, thank you!! [link] [comments]
Idea for gauntlets: reduce ring charges Posted: 02 Nov 2019 06:35 PM PDT This gauntlet I am 5-5. I have won every game with ring and lost every game without. I have played three different decks. I know this is an extreme example, and it's obvious the best players don't have these hang-ups. But given the Surplus rules, I think ring is an extra big bonus. I would suggest, in modes where ring is more valuable, to reduce it to 1 or 2 charges. This isn't a general "ring is terrible" complaint - I just think that with certain game modes, the ring becomes significantly more valuable. [link] [comments]
