Did I miss a new meta?

    Posted: 14 Mar 2020 06:34 AM PDT

Firstly, I'm by no means good. Decent, but I'll likely never be ranked or seriously competitive. But is there some new meta I've missed where you take like all the time you possible can in a turn? It's super irritating for an opponent to make all they're moves in the first ten seconds and then just sit until like halfway through the countdown. I see it more often now. It's not just when I'm winning, and it's even more galling when I'm losing.

Anyway, rant done. TL;DR, finish your turns.

Any tips for someone trying to work their way through ranked?

    Posted: 14 Mar 2020 12:59 AM PDT

So I've just kind of recently come back to this game because I've had it for a long time and have been getting the daily log-in rewards but not much more and I want to do some more with it because I do find it really fun, and I'm wondering if anyone maybe has some tips for me in ranked? I've gotten up to the shadow pretty handily but now all of a sudden I can't seem to string more than 2 or 3 wins together before going on a wicked losing streak. I'm sure this is not just a symptom of my lackluster deck building skills, but I probably am also making some mistakes in how I play and any advice would be super helpful! I feel like I'm decent at strategy for the game, like I think I generally know when to break runes and when to not give my opponent more cards, but I'm sure there are other things I'm not doing right. Like I always seem to run really low on card in the late game now. Should I try to hold off on playing a bunch of cards in the beginning? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
