How the lore predicted the meta, and what's coming next

    Posted: 25 Feb 2021 06:21 AM PST

The Oblivion Crisis began when Uriel Septim VII (Sparkypants) was assassinated (contract not renewed) by the Mythic Dawn (Bethesda). Daedra (Invade 🔴🟡🔵 decks) were running rampant (annoying everyone) and left unchecked because Uriel Septim VII (Sparkypants) wasn't around to lead the resistance (nerf invade).

One of the notable battles during the Oblivion Crisis was the Fall of Ald'ruhn, in which--I'm not shitting you--the Dunmer resurrected a giant crab (Dwemcrabs ⚪️) to fight the Daedra (Invade 🔴🟡🔵 decks).

Around the same time, the Argonians (Scout Goblins, because Argonian colors are 🟢🟣) counter-invaded the Daedra (became somehow more annoying than Invade 🔴🟡🔵 decks).

    Where is this going?

First, it's important to understand that each of the 10 dual-color classes are associated with one of the playable races:

    Crusader 🔴🟡: Nords

    Battlemage 🔴🔵: Redguard

    Archer 🔴🟢: Wood Elf

    Warrior 🔴🟣: Orc

    Mage 🟡🔵: High Elf

    Monk 🟡🟢: Khajiit

    Spellsword 🟡🟣: Imperial

    Assassin 🔵🟢: Dark Elf

    Sorcerer 🔵🟣: Breton

    Scout 🟢🟣: Argonian

    I say they're associated because:

    • the attributes match the lore of the races (Strength🔴/Endurance🟣 are Orc traits)
    • the majority of each race's creature cards exist in the two colors they're associated with (virtually all Redguards are 🔴 or 🔵)
    • dual color cards almost always feature creatures of the associated race e.g. Rift Thane 🔴🟡 is a Nord

Most tri-color creature cards have at least one attribute of the creature's race, but there is one that is completely 'wrong'. Can you guess which one?

That's right, Guildsworn Apprentice (🔴🟡🔵), which depicts an Argonian 🟢🟣 named SEES-ALL-COLORS (get it?), the person who lead the fighter's guild in eliminating Dark Anchors (fancy Oblivion Gates).

Which can only mean one thing: Guildsworn Mid is the emergent deck that can handle Goblins, Dwemcrabs, and Invade and restore the meta to mid-friendly glory.

PSA: Burn Assassin is still an incredibly easy way to climb the ladder

    Posted: 25 Feb 2021 07:41 AM PST

Been playing this game for a while. Anytime I've wanted to climb the ladder quickly and stop messing around with meme/custom decks, I just bust out a burn assassin deck. Did so this month and still found it to be very effective. Burn assassin wins games, but it's also a fast deck, so you climb quickly. I will say that there is some practice required before getting the strategy down, however.

Here's the deck I put together for this month: SPACwAaAAAAQcyswixcIjHsUcfitbOwdfDdhdMfLhjeb

It's pretty standard and I really didn't do much to optimize this or experiment with changes. It's kind of a version of the "prophecy burn" approach (uses some prophecy cards).

Anyways, curious if others have found success with burn assassin, what strategies you use, and what decks you use. Also, definitely hoping this helps anyone who is having trouble climbing. Let me know if I can help with tactics

I back to play TES - need good deck to play in ranked

    Posted: 24 Feb 2021 12:37 PM PST

I back to play. I do all stories and buy most of old decks and some of the new. I need a deck to play in ranked game and I want to ask you which deck I should use. Here are decklist https://teslegends.pro/decks/ but when I sorted by ratings I mostly see decks that created in 2017-2018 (they have the best rating. Are they still good or now something is changing. I have 4500 this "crystals" so I can create some cards
