Posted: 09 Jul 2021 09:40 PM PDT I apologize if this sort of thing has been beaten to death around this community but I truly do miss this game. I got into the game late, after the transition to the updated client, but man was this game memorable. I loved the flavor of it - the lore, the artwork on the cards, the premiums, and the gameplay itself. I am kind of a solo gamer, and I like to just relax and play the AI sometimes, and the draft mode arena runs in this game were so fun. I realize I can still partcipate in those, and the game as a whole, but when it went into maintenance mode it really took the wind out of my sails. I grinded this game as a F2P player, earned all of the campaigns through playing. I wasn't much for ranked but I did play some and I loved participating in the gauntlets. One of my greatest memories in this game was placing 87th in a gauntlet and earning an exclusive card back. I remember right before the Oblivion themed expansion was released (which then became referred to as the final nail in the coffin due to Invade), I was so hyped for it. I actually looked forward to something (big for me) and to have it be a game, no less. I am thinking of reinstalling the game, and just doing some arena runs to unwind and have some fun. That's all, just wanted to reminisce a bit. I won't ask if there is any chance of this game going back into development because I am sure this community has gotten tired of hearing that sort of thing. I again apologize if this sort of post is beating a dead horse, but yeah, really miss this game and wish things didn't go the route that they did. TESL going into maintenance mode was a truly sad day. Thank you for reading. [link] [comments]
What's the general consensus on Seducer Darkfire ? Posted: 10 Jul 2021 10:10 AM PDT Is it good ? Is it bad ? What number should be chosen in what matchup ? All I know is that it feels really unrewarding to play, since you never know if it actually works. [link] [comments]

Is Divine Fervor still playable? Posted: 10 Jul 2021 12:28 AM PDT I run it in some of my mid or midgro decks but lately, they destroy it quite often. Since it's a 5 cost card, it's always a massive tempo loss when destroyed by shadowfen or the archer. Please let me know if it's worth running it in spite of the risk of losing tempo. Posted: 10 Jul 2021 12:24 AM PDT Recently watching an old Justin Larson video. It was a Chaos Arena run shortly after the Heroes of Skyrim Expansion. Opponent at 18 health with 3 runes left. Justin has Pillaging tribune, Dawnstar healer, and Haafingar Marauder in shadow lane. Opponent has a Restless Templar in Field Lane. Justin swings face with Pillaging tribune, breaks the rune, triggers Haafingar Marauder and is equipped with Dawnbreaker (pre-nerf), he destroys the Templar, the opponent gains 5 health and is back to 18 health, but retains his rune. Justin swings face with Dawnstar healer and seemingly breaks the same rune again to trigger haafingar marauder again. Opponent is now at 15 health. Would this interaction still occur today if you equipped an item that allowed you to destroy the templar such as staff of ice? It seems like the rune should not have been retained. Is this a bug that was at some point fixed? Just thought it was an interesting interaction. If anyone is interested the video is called, "Heroes of Skyrim Chaos Arena Highlights | Elder Scrolls Legends". The interaction occurs at roughly 28 min mark. [link] [comments] |
