Losing rank when opponent disconnects.

The last two times I've had an opponent disconnect from the game I've gone down in rank. The 3 turns will count down, then the victory screen comes up, but it shows my perk perk going down on my warrior. Why is that happening since I technically won by default? Then I play and win the next round and it goes back to the spot it was at so I know for sure I'm actually losing a rank point when I win against a disconnected player. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm a guest who plays on mobile idk if that effects it or not.
