    Plea to SparkyPants: We are in CRISIS. Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good. We CANNOT wait two weeks for a patch, nerf gates HARD right NOW. If you want to playtest a permanent fix to make gates balanced and playable, do that later. But right now we need to go back to the MoE meta.

    Suggestion for SparkyPants: To provide Invade-fatigued players an outlet to play the game, start a new event tomorrow with unlimited entry, low cost entry and small rewards, and with all Invade cards banned.

    Now that the Grand Melee is over, the Event feature is open at least until this weekend. If SparkyPants launches an event tomorrow that we can enter an unlimited number of times, that bans all Invade cards, and otherwise allows everything, we can happily play our ladder decks in an Invade-free environment.

    I would suggest the entry cost should be 10 gold and the rewards should be ladder-level: something like 3 wins gets 25 gold, 6 wins gets 50 gold and a pack, 9 wins gets 75 gold and two packs. The point being that the cost of entry is low enough that we can play it over and over.

    We want to be able to play the game. But with the ladder infested with Invade decks, lots of people have zero desire to load up the game and queue in to an uninteractive and unfun playing experience vs an Invade deck.

    We want to be able to play. Give us a way to play that we can look forward to opening up the game, instead of just hoping it gets better but dreading what we're going to see.

    We've already lost eyenie, NickelQueen, gumchoo... and I'm afraid for how many more community members will be leaving if they can't play the game they love. Give us a way to play without Invade or we're going to keep losing our community.

    As someone (unable to play tournaments, but wanna-be-competitive), whose main source of joy has been the thrill of the top #10 grind in the last few days of ranked ladder...... this does it for me.... I'm out! Done with the game for now....

    Dont judge me, I'm doing the lord's work for all of us. I have jam packed the deck with so many executes and destroy creature with 2 power or less cards. It's not even a viable deck but man is it fun just destroying every single gate they throw down. Taunt me all you want, but you're going to beat me down the old fashioned way.

    There is zero incentive to play the game currenty. Bethesda should give 3x Premium Champion of the Arena and the Premium Cardback to all players.

    Just going to mention this ahead of time. Tons of people genuinely can't be bothered to play during this (and I don't blame them, the Invade combo is completely mindless), and players shouldn't be losing their shot at all these goodies when the game literally breaks apart.

    Writing this as somebody who already gets both anyways.

    Serious question for Sparky: Should we expect an invade rework?

    Pretty much title. The community needs an answer about invade and its future but, like Toastie has said, they only evade invade-related posts.

    Invade has been the worst new mechanic we have seen in TESL. Highrolly, full rng and unfun to play against mechanic, like Akatosh + Commander was in Skyrim expansion. The oblivion gates should be something like this:

    • Lvl 1-3: Same effects,
    • Lvl 4: At the start of your turn, draw a 1/1 scamp.
    • Lvl 5: At the start of your turn, instead of drawing a 1/1 scamp, summon a 1/1 scamp.
    • Lvl 6-X: +1 health per level.

    When your gate dies, reduce its level to 1. Same if you bounce it. This way, you will be able to play 2 or 3 gates together, but you will need to level up both of them instead of summoning a 0 cost lvl 10 gate.

    This rework would made invade a more lore-accurate, not unfun to play against, not rng and more countereable mechanic.

    I quit TESL after the terrible Alliance war expansion, and I have return to see how much has improved Legends in these 6 months, but I don't see improvements at all. Invade mechanic was quite balanced the first 2 weeks when we didn't had a solid meta, but now is making ladder unplayable. Play ladder at high ranks and you will only play against "Bounce invade mage" and "Bounce invade Guildsworn".

    I have played a lot of card games during my live, so I can say that I'm an expert in the CCGs, and I can say that this mechanic is one of the worst mechanic I have ever seen in a card game, even worse that Genn and Baku in HS and even worse than Akatosh and Commander in Skyrim expansion.

    I don't want to play this game if they don't rework invade, you can't have fun. So I invite you all players to play only invade decks in order to make them rework it.

    If they don't rework invade in 1 week, I will left the game forever, like a lot of people has done after seeing this abomination. Nowadays, this game it's not fun to play.
