After all this time, I wanted to thank people for the continuous support.

Hilariously enough, several people contacted me about that Mantikora buff unnerf. It makes me smile everytime someone references me in a post about Mantikora, salt or control decks. Just wanted to say: thank you all for your kind messages, even though I'm completely irrelevant in this game at this point.

    PS: Invade is absurd.

PS2: I played many Mantikoras last night, felt really good...

    Unexpected interaction with Dawnbreaker

When a creature with {{Dawnbreaker}} kills a {{Haunting Spirit}}, the banished spirit still gives out the +3/+3 buff. Is this working as intended?

Cards that shouldn't be in arena! Part deux

Cards that shouldn't be in arena! Part deux

Usually, this guy completely screws me over whenever I meet him in arena. Fairly low cost for a card that can singlehandedly win games regardless of whatever control the opponent previously had in their chosen lane (or thought they had). Is this really the kind of card that needs to be in arena? I more than welcome him in other matches, but in arena he feels totally imbalanced.

Feel free to add your thoughts on the card. Do you think he belongs? If so, why?

My idea for a new lore-friendly board clear. Synergizes well with stat reduction, and limited to Willpower creatures to avoid Endurance slay shenanigans.

Has anyone else noticed that the game goes in waves? It feels like for several games I will get the perfect top deck, a great mulligan, etc. Then there will be a string of consecutive games where my opponent hits 3 prophecies, the perfect rng, etc. Could this be an actual thing or is it just my mind

Most satisfying Pawnbroker in my entire lifetime

I know its a 1:28 to get this, i know i shouldnt feel proud about it but hell this was so satisfying. I was about to concede but this card came into my mind again, the fact that i actually got it against my least favourite archetype at the moment is just so great.

    Twin Gauntlet: Thoughts and Decks

    Posted: 06 Nov 2019 12:48 PM PST

Invade is far from being "nerfed" or inconsistent. If it was, that dude would NOT be curbstomping my fastest deck @ turn 5 from a no.22 legend spot. Yea yea, I know.. I just forgot to "tech" against Invade.. LOL

Deckbuilding tips 101 - #1 Making sure the deck is synergized

    Posted: 06 Nov 2019 12:33 PM PST

So, when I first started playing Legends, I kind of lost a lot. Running into netdeckers and refusing to netdeck myself, it was pretty difficult. But the fact that I made my own decks and improved them a little bit at a time helped me a lot in my deckbuilding skills. Today I would like to share something that is in my opinion the most important thing, synergy.

If you ever feel like you aren't drawing the cards you want, even though you played 10 games with a deck. Or you don't have a way to retrieve your best card that you just played and got instantly removed by the opponent. If you feel like you can not play your Odahviing on the turn it's needed, because you are missing a single mana (this happened to me quite a bit). You might want to include some mana boosting cards. Or you might want to include some grave retrieval cards.

It is a skill for sure, no doubt about that. It's an absolute skill to synergize the deck, but by making your own decks and improving them. And they don't have to be perfect right away (100% of the decks I've made are not). Even something as a simple idea for a deck can be the basis for the next metadeck.

Try to notice which cards are more important than others, and how you can support these cards. If you really want to play Tyr, you can. Maybe try to include some items in the deck to make the card better statwise. Want to play Miraak? Sure, try to play some Piercing Javelin's to survive to the lategame. Want to play Odahviing? Sure, maybe try to craft some cheap dragon to play along with him, and again play removal to survive to the lategame.

You can play any card you want, any deck you want, but identify what the core idea is. Do you need to survive to the lategame or do you need to defeat your opponent in the earlier turns?

I hope this has brought some perspective on deckbuilding and helped at least one of you guys!

    Happy dueling,

    Peekaboo

Please make 2 color cards only available in 2 color decks

    Posted: 07 Nov 2019 12:40 AM PST

I hate 3 color decks but, realizing they are not going to just go away, at the very minimum don't let them have 2 color cards in there.. I realize it's not a full blown solution to why so many of us hate 3 colors, but hey at least it would be a start? What do you think?

2 color cards in 2 color decks / 3 color cards in 3 color decks Sounds good?
