How can we ever defeat the daedric invaders? A mysterious hooded figure just dropped this pamphlet into my hands while I was shopping in the Imperial City Market District.

I got to Legend for the first time this week

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone here. Lurking has taught me so much about the game.

Also I'm really hoping all the serious people who are boycotting do eventually come back. I feel like the matches are less challenging this month and I can't help thinking half the competition has gone. I want to see if I can stand my ground in a normal month.

Also obligatory: fuck Invade, Mudcrabs something something, and I hope no one has a sneaky snake boi hiding in their hand.

I never realized how much I rely on actions until I face hards that are immune to them.

    Constructed Rating*: 3.8/5

    Arena Rating*: 2.1/5

Example Decklist: i love chiefatin by jele77

Trivia: An orc stronghold's tribe is controlled by a chieftain, who is the literal alpha male: no other males are permitted to take wives or father children. The chieftain is replaced by whichever one of his sons grows strong enough to challenge and kill him. The strength of a tribe (and the favor granted to it by Malacath) depends heavily on the personal strength of the chieftain.

To the guy who used Miraak to steal my Alduin...

    Posted: 18 Nov 2019 01:35 PM PST

    Good game, bro.

No, really. That was genuinely the most intense battle I've had with this game.

An endless back and forth, and it took everything I had to turn that match around as I was already trailing on health. As it happened, I had Paarthurnax and Odahviing in my hand and may or may not have stolen Drain and Breakthrough from Dagon's Seducer...

Truly an engaging back and forth battle, and you saw it through to the end without conceding. If you're reading, thanks for the battle. Your reward in Sovngarde awaits.

Does anyone here have any interesting battle stories to share? Anything particularly intense or just made you raise an eyebrow?

What card do you hate the most?

    Posted: 18 Nov 2019 07:07 PM PST

Regardless of a deck type or a combo, there is always that card that you despise. Sometimes it is not even OP or anything, you just want to see it burn in the hottest flames of oblivion! What's your most hated card? (I'm so ready to see Territorial Viper everywhere)

Mine is Little Child when played in the shadow lane, like, really? I just hate that card!

    Magicka Cost Reduction Options

    Posted: 18 Nov 2019 03:58 PM PST

Ok so I have been trying to find a comprehensive article on this concept in the game. (I thought Tesl.blog had it, but couldn't find it today so I may be mistaken). There are definitely a solid number of cost-reducing cards in the game, but I was hoping to see if there was any out-of-the-box thoughts that I may be overlooking here. If you prefer, just skip to the bottom for my actual question and reason for this compiled data.

First the tally, per attribute/class/house and these are separated by two categories;A — Self-Reducing Cards & B — Reduces Other Cards

    KEY:C = Creatures ; A = Actions ; I = Items ; S = Supports ; ∆ = Effects All Cards

(Please let me know if I made mistake or missed a card!!)

    1. STRENGTH

    • A — 1 | Unfinished Business
    • B — 1 | Fear Totem; C

    2. INTELLIGENCE

    • A — 1 | Fingers of the Mountain
    • B — 6 | Mages Guild Recruit; A | Vanus's Scribe; A | Nahkriin, Dragon Priest, ∆ | Skilled Blacksmith, I | Thalmor Embassy, C | Destruction Tutor, A

    3. WILLPOWER

    • A — 2 | Defense of Bruma | Hero of Anvil
    • B — 2 | Morag Tong Nightblade; A | Forward Camp, S

    4. AGILITY

    • A — 4 | Spoils of War | Debilitate | The Ultimate Heist | Murkwater Butcher
    • B — 7 | Glass Greaves; ∆ | Lockpick, ∆ | Thieves Guild Recruit, ∆ | Cyriel, ∆ | Thieves Guild Fence, ∆ | Eclipse Baroness, ∆ | Soulrest Marshal, ∆

    5. ENDURANCE

    • A — 1 | Whodunit?
    • B — 2 | Dark Anchor; C | Lich's Ascension, ∆

    6. CLASS & HOUSES

    • B — 5 | Cyrodiil: Transitus Shrine, C & A | Dagoth: Ascended Sleeper, C | Ebonheart: Jorunn the Skald-King, C | Mage: Ayrenn, A

    7. NEUTRAL

    • A — 4 | Ghost Fanatic | Soulburst | Alduin | Painted World
    • B — 7 | Midnight Snack; C | Gates of Madness, A & S | Ring of Lordship, C | Star–Sung Bard, ∆ Uniques | Seht's Masterwork, | Dragon Mound, C | Paarthurnax, ∆ Shouts

PHEW! In hoping to exhaust all options to my question, I had compiled this info and felt like it should at least be shared so that it was (more) worth the time spent (LOL). Ok, but all this leads me to my main question now knowing that I've extensively gone through the cards —

QUESTION — Am I missing a way in which to, for example, in a Sorcerer deck to reduce Laaneth's cost from 9-cost other than using the Ring of Lordship on her or another Dark Elf, waiting around for Lich's Ascension and then dealing with the fact that I have to now cancel that support out due to its limitations, or hoping I pull her on the draw after Nahkiin*?* Dark Anchor is endurance but that only accounts for Daedra.

    Thanks, appreciate the help!

    Gatekeeper bug?

    Posted: 19 Nov 2019 02:21 AM PST

Gatekeeper was summoned as a random daedra off Unexpected Arrival after id already attacked with the other creature sharing the same lane. It received charge as a random keyword. And I was... able to attack? That's not how this is suppose to work...

I'm convinced that 50 card deck users are scrubs.

    Posted: 19 Nov 2019 08:45 AM PST

The title says it all. Multiple matches against 2 attribute, 50-card users is so corny. Always going for the same things, nothing original in their gameplay. It's annoying, to say the least.
