    Asian vs Other Version

    Posted: 21 Apr 2020 09:23 AM PDT

I understand that these two versions are different and being handled by different people, I also have some questions.

    1. What are the differences between the two, if any, regarding cards or gameplay? Or are they identical?
    2. Is the Asian version mobile only? Is it known why, or whether a PC client will come out?
    3. Is the Asian version still under active development? (I know the other one isn't).
    4. What is the relationship between the two studios responsible for each version? Do they have a shared parent company? Why is one continuing and one not?
    5. If the main version is shutting down, is it possible for the Asian version to expand to cover every region and become global?

Thanks in advance. I hope the answers will enlighten the game's situation somewhat.

My game has been launching like this, even after a reinstall and reboot. Anyone got any ideas?

I don’t think Bethesda has given up on the game yet

    Posted: 21 Apr 2020 07:18 AM PDT

As someone who just returned to the game, and have a deep love for the game, it really disappoints me that the game has stopped receiving support, or has it? I've been thinking and I think that Bethesda hasn't 100% scraped the game. Maybe I'm just giving into the clickbait articles claiming that this game is dead or I'm being overly optimistic, but if Bethesda truly gave up then why do they still have the servers running? I'm not too familiar on maintaining servers, but wouldn't it have saved Bethesda more money to just shut down all the servers back in December and call it day instead of keeping them up? Unless, they plan to make a return some day when everything is alright again.

    Opening Hand Size

    Posted: 20 Apr 2020 02:08 PM PDT

Smaller hand sizes mean your opening hand is less reflective of your actual magicka curve.

    Hypothetically:

    • Opening hand size = 1
      • No opening hand would ever accurately reflect your deck. (i.e. if it's 1 7-cost card, that sample infers 100% of your deck was 7-cost cards.)
    • Opening hand size = 75
      • Your opening hand would be identical to the magicka curve (though that would be ridiculous)

There are a minority of matches in which players with well-built decks who mulligan intelligently still end up with 3 7+ cost cards in their opening hand. This kind of scenario is inevitable at some point in any card game, and there's no total cure, but the small opening hand size exacerbates this.

Small opening hand puts more weight on each card. If you draw your highest cost card opening hand, that's 25% of your hand that's bricked. This can make the early game lop-sided, when both players are seeing less cards. A deck with a lot of 2 costs not drawing their 2 costs until turn 4 can mess them up (whether it's aggro, or control).

    Returning Player

    Posted: 20 Apr 2020 08:07 PM PDT

Hey guys returning player here. I've been out of legends since last August and wants to get back into the game. I did some light research on what happened to the game while I was gone I heard that Bethesda has "stopped" working on the game, but I'm not sure if it's 100% true. Anyway, I logged in, played some games and it still feels as fun as it used to be. Any good decks to make or cards I should craft?

Even Gauntlet (April 17-20) - Top 100 Players

    Am I a bad person? :'(

I don’t want to share my deck!!!! What should I do?

    Posted: 20 Apr 2020 04:15 PM PDT

If you are the top 200 ranks in The elder scrolls legends Asia, people can see what card in your deck clearly and you have not choices to hide it.

This is terrible. Perhaps it doesn't matter to people who want to share their decks. But, it doesn't mean everybody want to share their own deck, especially the people who spent a lot of time when they created it, maybe they also paid much more money for it.

Is it any unofficial way to hide your own deck. If you know, please tell me. Thank you.
