Keep TES: Legends Alive! — http://chng.it/SgFwntyydQ Posted: 16 Apr 2020 09:48 AM PDT I started this petition a few months ago when the first announcement was made. Since then I have noticed quite a steady number of new people still coming into this Reddit, either from discovering it late or from the release of the Asian client. That version is doing pretty good from what I hear and new blood for this version is encouraging. So I figured I'd attempt to breathe a little more life into it and hopefully some of the new players who have fallen in love with it can add their voices. Maybe we can reach 1000. Now before a select few of you jump all over this, I've already heard it so save your breath—

Posted: 15 Apr 2020 04:09 PM PDT Some cards seem really strong and overpowered on paper, but aren't as strong in practice. The greatest example of this is a "win-more" card: a card that gives you more advantage when you already have advantage. These kinds of cards offer advantage, but you need to be in a safe and comfortable position to use it. If a player is at low health or significantly outnumbered on board, then they don't have the luxury of playing a win-more card; they need to stabilize, stay alive and regain control of the board first. Possible Signs of a Win More card
Consistency is King - Someone can provide a screenshot or a video of them stomping with a particular card or deck, but that's anecdotal. That's only 1 match. More important is how the card performs over hundreds of matches. Win-more cards can be great in one match, yet dead draws in another. Some matches you can't win. Some matches you can't lose. The cards that can swing the middle portion of matches that are on the fence are the ones that have the most impact. Many of the greed cards can stomp bad opponents, but good players will punish them more often. Some people have difficulty climbing ranks because they use too many greed cards. Greedy cards aren't always bad. They're okay in moderation. Most good decks have some, but those decks also have backbone of versatile and more consistent cards to help them get into a position where they can safely use them. [link] [comments] | ||
